Sarah Alzahrani Artist Bio

Introduction:

I am Sarah Alzahrani, an emerging Middle Eastern artist with a drive for creativity, self-expression and exploring the shadows and malevolent facets of human behavior and cognition through artistic expression. My art, which delves into intimate and brooding themes, my art style emphasizes the profound and somber facets of human remotion that often remains veiled due to fear of ostracization or shame. To me, art is a means of encapsulating intense emotions and presenting them in an unpretentious and authentic manner, even when they encompass the raw, violent or ugly aspects of the human experience.

Background:

 I was born in the middle east on January 16th of the year 2000, and my artistic journey has been a bit delayed, formally beginning in the University of Colorado at Boulder. My artistic background has been a quite diverse exploration of various mediums, spanning from traditional painting and drawing to the intricate craft of welding and sculpting. My curiosity for different artistic forms and mediums continuously expands as I delve into novel creative avenues. While my primary passion resides in the realm of digital art and drawing, I’ve also ventured into installation and performance art, both of which I aspire to explore further.
